i feel like there is something so romantic & authentic about cinematic, film-inspired photography. i tend to gravitate towards an organic, vintage editing style. however, i recognize this specific style of photography isn't for everyone. so i still try to offer a variety of retro & modern images when creating photo galleries for my clients.

Do I need to find my own location for outdoor photos?
If you have a specific location in mind, that's great! But if you are worried about not knowing where to go, don't sweat it. I've got that covered.
What if my husband is a bit "closed off" around cameras?
I have worked with several husbands/ dads/ boyfriends who claim to "hate having their picture taken" - I know a few tips & tricks to get them to forget about the camera I'm pointing in their face (just long enough to get some really wonderful photos.) & if those don't work on your guy, I know lots of poses that don't require him to stare into the lens.

One of the main benefits of hiring a professional photographer, is not having to worry about posing yourself! I will show you exactly what to do so that you don't have to think about that part.
How long will it take to get my photos?
I always send 3-4 "sneak peek" photos to my clients within 24 hours of our session. (including weddings) Portrait sessions are delivered within 6 weeks. Wedding clients will receive the link to their complete online gallery anywhere between 6-10 weeks, depending on what time of year it is. ("Wedding Season" gets BUSY)
I want to plan a surprise proposal but I don't know how to pull it off.
